The Rio Grande Valley is located along the border between the United States and Mexico. The area cities have a rich cultural history, formed by the influence of both countries. The unique location along the Rio Grande River, spanning from the Gulf of Mexico to Zapata (at the Falcon Dam Reservoir) provides unique environmental experiences not found in other locations.
