Enjoy guided tours of the home’s history, Spanish architecture and nature trails. Quinta Mazatlan was built in the 1930s and is recognized as one of the largest adobe homes in the state of Texas. No reservations required. If bringing a large group please call in advance to schedule.

Visitors will enjoy an hour-long outdoor guided tour which focuses on edible and/or medicinal aspects of the plants, trees, berries, and blossoms found in our thornforest, courtyard, and gardens.

TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Visitors will experience a guided tour which reveals the home’s history, showcases the Spanish Revival style architecture, native gardens, art gallery, and gift store.
TOUR: Woodland Walkabout
DATE: Saturdays (through April)
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Visitors are invited to explore McAllen’s big backyard on a guided tour along the half-mile of nature trails surrounding the historic adobe mansion.
