Big John & His Spare Parts

Big John & His Spare Parts is a duo or a 5-6 pc band. Depends on the venue! Husband and wife duo, Big John & Connie Pedersen perform at many venues including art centers, town celebrations, music festivals, assisted living homes, churches, and patio parties. If a larger event, such as a dance, is planned, they bring in more Spare Parts, usually including guitars, fiddles, drums and sometimes steel guitar, played by exceptional musicians from around the country. Big John & Connie come from Northern Iowa, but have performed across the country from Maryland to Arizona and Minnesota and S. Dakota to Texas. They play lots of Classic Country but include some newer artists music too. Their variety is always a hit with the audience. Big John was inducted into the National Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012. He's won many awards in many categories, such as Best Male Vocalists, Songwriting, and People's Choice. Connie has since joined him on stage and is vocalist and plays bass. Their harmony and stage presence lets everyone know they are enjoying themselves and being with the audience.
