CanAm is a duo of Winter Texans featuring Tom "Mezzy" Hiles and Bruce Boudreau. Tom has been playing and singing in the RGV for a few years. In the early 2021-2022 season, he and Bruce met, and through an impromptu show together, they immediately clicked and agreed to put together a duo act. The name "CanAm" is derived from each members nationality, Bruce is a Canadian from Ontario, and Tom is an American from South Dakota. Both here seasonally to escape the cold north winters.
