Nina Ricci is one of the new faces of the American folk music movement. She has a passion for the folk revival music of the 50’s/60’s that popularized folk music on college campuses across America. Her balladeer voice and troubadour spirit are invigorating and she has an engaging way of inserting history and humor alongside the songs she presents to her audiences. In addition to singing folk music, Nina is a gifted songwriter. Her music coincides very well with her mixture of traditional and folk revival covers. Nina’s hopes are to foster love for folk music in a new generation of listeners and to give fond remembrance to those who were present the first time around. You might not think a solo act could be so dynamic and engaging, but Nina has been featured at theme parks such as Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO; at Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, TN; and onstage in Medora, North Dakota; as well as in various folk music festivals in the Southeast.
